Describing feelings
Thinking about the exam the other day, I looked at the compo marksheets and saw I should be putting more interesting vocab in my stories.

What you like writing? I always try to write a story about people and and what they do and how they feel. But I noticed, when I really looked, that I was using "happy" and "sad" and "angry", just like I did in primary school, so I probably won't make the examiners feel that I've learnt anything since then!!!

I got a website from my teacher and found something to help. I enjoy cartoons and remember the faces and evn practise drawing them for fun. So these faces I found were a big help, because I just get a piece of paper when I have some free time and draw them from memory. THEN I label them from memory too! It works for me. Now I have lots of adjectives to describe feelings in my stories.

Have a look on screen - they are fun! If you want to print them off, there's a special file to make it easy. I made two copies, and tippexed out the words on one, so my Mum could test me. Well, I do want a credit!
